Breast Lift

Lifting breasts refer to nipples positioned below the breast crease. This condition, which becomes more evident with aging, can also occur in younger women depending on elasticity levels, leading to discomfort in daily life. Corrective surgery for drooped breasts aims to create a firmer and more voluminous breast contour.

Surgery Hours  |  2-3 hour

Propofol sedation anesthesia

Hospitalization  |  The day

Remove stitch  |  7 days after surgery

Recovery  |  3-4 days later

Self-diagnosis of drooped Breasts

The determination of drooped breasts is based on the position of the nipple relative to the breast crease. In a normal scenario, the nipple should be positioned about 4-5cm above the breast crease. If it significantly hangs below the breast crease, correction surgery, such as the Honnete breast lift, may be necessary.

Surgical methods

    Periareolar Incision Method

  1. This method achieves both lifting and volumizing of drooped breasts.
  2. By making an incision around the areola, the shape of internal breast tissue is reshaped and anchored to the chest wall.
  3. By suturing the nipple and areola to the desired position, an appropriate shape is achieved.
  4. Breast lifting surgery is relatively straightforward, leading to quick recovery and often does not require hospitalization.
  5. It's one of the methods used to address breasts that have become smaller and drooped after breastfeeding.

    Vertical Incision Method

  1. Periareolar incision and 'H' Incision
    complement each other's weaknesses.
  2. Scarring is less prominent compared
    to the 'H' Incision Method.
  3. There is minimal loss of nipple sensation.
  4. It can be applied even for relatively
    large breast reductions.
  5. The surgical approach varies depending
on the type of flap that includes the nipple.
  6. It is currently the most commonly performed surgical method.

    ‘H’ Incision Method

  1. It is convenient even for the surgery
    of severely hypertrophic breasts.
  2. Predicting surgical outcomes is easier.
  3. It is convenient for significant reduction of severely drooping hypertrophic breasts.
  4. Blood supply to the nipple-areola complex is rich.
  5. It is easier to control the amount of tissue
    being removed.
